Ruowen Wang

-- a Chinese-Canadian Author for Children

"I write to surprise, delight and inspire." - by Ruowen Wang

About the Author:

You may have already read my brief introduction in the About the Author part on our publisher’s site. Or you may have run into my other articles on teaching that have been quoted by many places all over the Internet. How to Encourage Children to Read is still popular on the Internet now and can be found by searching Ruowen Wang on most search engines. I have included that article in the "For Parents & Teachers" section for anyone who is interested in teaching reading and motivating young readers.

Writing and teaching are just part of me - the boring part, I suppose. Now, you may wish to get to know me here, simply as an individual. I like the comfort of being casual, and I like to share my life stories with both adults and kids.

People who got these books as Christmas gifts came back to buy more. People who have collected all my recent titles are asking for my future new books. Schools and public libraries usually buy all the titles I have. Go to your local public library or school library and borrow them. If they do not have my books yet, you can suggest them. Libraries always look for good books.

When you go to a library or a bookstore to look for a book, you will need the name of the book, the name of the author, and the book's ISBN number. I have provided this information below.
